Summer school at the Philosophical Faculty UHK:

The Summer School comprises of a total of 80 school hours of Czech language with our professional teachers.
There are 9 academic lectures about various topics concerning the Czech Republic, it's history, society and development every other afternoon.
There are English language lessons (20 school hours in total), which are also scheduled for afternoons.
Five Friday trips to other cities are included in the price, and interesting places as well as historical sights.
A rich social program (movie night, quiz shows, sports events, board-game night and more) during the early evenings is optional.

What is the Summer School about?

The summer school is designed for students who wish to study in the Czech Republic with the emphasis on studying at the University of Hradec Králové. Over a period of four weeks you will learn the basic communication skills in Czech language, academic terminology, cultural specifities of the nation, various teaching methods in programs taught at the Philosophical Faculty, actively participate in integration and globalization and we are certain that you make life-long friends.

Admission procedure requirements:

  • a successfully completed secondary school education proved by an attested copy of the school leaving certificates;
  • intermediate level of English;
  • signing up for the summer school in the application for your study stay at the Philosophical Faculty UHK.
