The courses at the Department of Management focus on the principles, processes and practice of management. Students get acquainted with all fundamental aspects of management, marketing, logistics, human resources management, law, psychology, sociology and other interdisciplinary subjects.

Scientific programmes of the department focus on the development of new curriculum, personal development consultancy and connection of theory and practice. Within the Institute of Further Education of the faculty, the department also provides courses in interpersonal communication, personality psychology, company management, personal management, marketing and trading for many regional companies. The Department of Management participates in teaching courses in English language for foreign students. To connect theory and practice, the department also cooperates with many external lecturers and Czech and foreign universities and non-governmental companies.
