The Centre for basic and applied research (CZAV) was established in 2014 at the Faculty of Informatics and Management, and aims to link basic and applied research in the areas of IT applications in biomedicine, the military or economics, and regularly achieves excellence in this area. A good example of this faculty’s success is the Solutions Sensor Connection patent.
